The as-yet-untitled Game of Thrones prequel series just announced the first of its cast! According to Variety , Naomi Watts has officially been tapped to star in the pilot. There isn't much known about Watts's character, though it is known that she is playing "a charismatic socialite hiding a dark secret." Sounds deliciously mysterious. The pilot for the prequel is set thousands of years before the events featured in author George R. R. Martin's Song of Ice and Fire series. According to HBO's description of the project, "The series chronicles the world's descent from the golden Age of Heroes into its darkest hour, and only one thing is for sure: from the horrifying secrets of Westeros's history to the true origin of the white walkers, the mysteries of the East to the Starks of legend . . . it's not the story we think we know." HBO ordered the pilot over the Summer and filming began this October in Belfast through Paint Hall studios

The closer and closer we get to Rick Grimes's final episode on The Walking Dead , the more it seems like we won't be getting a happy ending for the apocalyptic sheriff. After episode four set Rick's death in motion by having his horse spook and rear up, dropping him into a pile of rubble and leaving Rick with his stomach impaled by steel rebar as walkers close in around him, it seems pretty obvious that he's looking at a rough ending. Even if Rick does manage to get away from the walkers, he's still bleeding out a long way away from any community, and everyone is too preoccupied with other matters to even think of searching for him anytime soon. So, it looks like Rick has just about run out of luck at this point. For those who are still hopeful, there are a lot of ways this could play out where Rick doesn't have to die. It looks like Riverdale 's Josie and the Pussycats just became KJ Apa and the Pussycats. On Oct. 27, KJ, who plays Archie Andrews, took a walk on the wild side by dressing up as one of the pussycats from the show's fictitious girl group . Rich Kids of Beverly Hills Star Roxy Sowlaty is officially off the market! On Tuesday, the 30-year-old’s now-fiancé Nicolas Bijan surprised Sowlaty, who was on a girl’s trip in Paris, by secretly flying out to the City of Love and popping the question to her with a jaw-dropping ring on the famous Love Lock bridge. And they ended it the same way they started it — hand-in-hand. The newlyweds, who made the exciting announcement that they are expecting their first child at the start of their tour, touched down in Sydney on Oct. 14 holding hands. And they hardly have let go of each other since! The couple also couldn’t hide their baby joy throughout the tour. Harry offered a personal message when they arrived in New Zealand via helicopter, saying, “From myself, my wife and our little bump, we are so grateful to be here. We bring blessings from my grandmother the Queen and our family. Prince Harry  and  Meghan Markle  are capping off their royal tour by getting in touch with nature. The newlyweds, who are expecting their first child this spring, headed to the Redwoods Treewalk Rotorua on Wednesday (local time) for a journey along the walkway of suspension bridges between 117-year-old Redwood trees. As they explored the forest, they learned more about its history. Meghan kept on her blue Givenchy sweater from earlier in the day and changed out of her pleated skirt and into her go-to Mother Denim black skinny jeans and comfy black flats for the excursion. She also wore a lightweight down jacket by Norrono . The forest is also the home to a thriving mountain biking community that draws people of all ages to the Redwoods. Meghan and Harry met invited representatives of the local biking community under the forest canopy. Carter McPherson has even more reasons to love Halloween! The four-year-old boy from Florida — who adores the annual holiday — recently received over 300 Halloween cards and gifts in the mail from people around the country, wishing him well as he undergoes his cancer treatments. Mom Tiffany McPherson had asked just a few neighbors to help cheer up her son, who was diagnosed with Pre-B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in February 2017, with festive cards. Tiffany first posted the request to  Nextdoor  — a social networking site for your neighborhood — at the end of the September. Since then, Carter has received tons of “cheer cards,” as Tiffany calls them, from people around the United States. His mom also says in addition to numerous cards, Carter is receiving approximately 10 Amazon boxes of gifts that are delivered to their house each day. Some of those gifts, she told PEOPLE, include gift cards, Halloween stuffed animals, stickers, books, coloring books, and a Spider-Man desk

Ashley Iaconetti knows her wedding to Jared Haibon will be an emotional day. Ricki Lake knows the love she had with her late ex-husband Christian Evans was very rare. While appearing on an episode of PeopleTV’s Chatter on Tuesday ,  the actress explained that the one thing she’d like to experience for the first time was something she has already felt — and doesn’t think is likely to happen again. “I found true love with my husband who passed so I’m hoping to find love again,” Lake, 50, said on Chatter . “I don’t think I will. Soon-to-be parents Prince Harry  and  Meghan Markle  are practicing their baby skills! After attending a  traditional pōwhiri and luncheon to kick off the final day of their royal tour  on Wednesday, local time, the pair headed to Rainbow Springs to learn more about the center’s kiwi breeding initiative. Kiwis, which are New Zealand’s national bird, have become increasingly endangered in recent years, as most chicks struggle to survive in the wild. Meghan and Harry met conservationists working to protect the species. In addition to seeing a newly hatched kiwi, the parents-to-be were given the chance to meet two young kiwi chicks born at Rainbow Springs just a few days ago named Tihei (which means “sneeze of life” or “life force” in Māori) and Koha (meaning “gift”).
